Volex announces that its Tijuana, Mexico manufacturing facility has received the first MedAccred Accreditation for Cable and Wire Harness in Mexico.

MedAccred recognises Volex’s Tijuana, Mexico manufacturing facility for further demonstrating the company’s commitment to the medical market by meeting the rigorous industry requirements established by 10 of the leading medical device companies and exacting customer requirements.
Following a stringent auditing procedure, the prestigious MedAccred ‘Cable and Wire Harness’ Accreditation is awarded by leading medical device companies, including Bausch Health, BD, Boston Scientific, Baxter, Edwards Lifesciences, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Philips, Stryker and Roche Diagnostics. MedAccred is the only industry recognized Accreditation process focused on critical process manufacturing capability for the medical device industry.
Volex Tijuana, Mexico facility is the first in Mexico to hold the MedAccred ‘Cable and Wire Harness’ Accreditation. This is the first Volex manufacturing facility to achieve MedAccred Accreditation.
