Volex completes DE-KA acquisition

Volex has today successfully completed its acquisition of De-Ka Elektroteknik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“DE-KA”), following approval by the Turkish Competition Authority.
DE-KA is one of the leading power cord producers in Europe, headquartered in Kocaeli, Turkey, with three production facilities and approximately 450 employees. Like Volex, DE-KA has shown a resilient performance through the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.
DE-KA boasts best-in-class automation, full vertical integration, and a strong management team. It also offers exciting organic growth potential, providing Volex with increased market share in attractive end-market segments. The acquisition expands Volex’s presence in Europe, a key market for Volex’s capabilities, and provides additional diversity to Volex’s business.
